Mariposa VII, a 7-story multifamily project, fabricated at Douglass Colony's headquarters using FRAMECAD and shipped directly to the jobsite where the building was erected in a total of 40 working days.
This seven storey multifamily project was built in Denver, CO with two levels of podium and five upper levels of cold formed steel . Douglass Colony supplied the pre-panelized metal stud wall framing and offered a turn-key solution with diversified builders as the contracted drywaller.All 422 load-bearing wall panels for levels three through seven of this 7-story (five levels on two levels of podium) project was fabricated at Douglass Colony's headquarters in Commerce City using FRAMECAD and shipped directly to the jobsite where the building was erected in a total of 40 working days, including all wall panels, flooring systems, and detailing with concrete poured and cured.
A total of 131,700 lbs of steel was used
The building included a total of 422 panels. All panels were fabricated at the Douglass Colony headquarters in Commerce City, CO in the 6-inch profile.
Two levels of podium
Each level took only 7 days to complete - 2 days to assemble and erect the wall panels and 5 days dedicated to finalise the floor system, the detailing on the floor deck, and the concrete. First panel was set on June 21st, 2016 and panels were delivered in 2-week intervals after that (after concrete had completely dried on each level)
